What really stands out on this build is the fine paint work. I'm talking about the copper color in the middle of the grey panels on the botton. and the small light blue panels in between the impulse engines.

Wow! Thanks guys! There's actually a TON TON TON of things I would have done differently...or would do on the next one. This is straight OOB for the review that Jamie never posted on r2's site...

I like how you were able to get such a great paint job and application of the decals. Ecspecially as a OOB build. Did you follow the directions on the paint as stated or did you vary it in any way?

Mostly per directions IIRC. Some of the smaller copper details and various blue shading was ad lib. The base coat is Tamiya Pearl White, but I think the directions just say white....

That is some fantastic work. I wish I still had the time to try and tackle a project like that. I'm limite to mostly smaller scale that doesn't require all of the aztecing.

that came out good .. havnt tackled one of the bigger kits with the azteking decals yet actualy one did one so far lol ... one thing .. didnt siscos saratoga have some sort of sensor things off the the sides of the main uhull and no roll bar ... tho ive seen pics of both types with same name and number .. but in the show i dont think it had the roll bar tho they realy didnt show it for long plus its been awhie since i seen it lol

your kit looks great either way ... those azteks kinda give it that real look
