Mophius is not Danny, he's just passing on the info. Pretty sure it's either the Refit or NX-01. The TOS-E wasn't released in 2005, was it?

Postage Costs including PayPal Fees

Just packaged the first two orders for the NorthTrek Creations Romulan Vengeance kit, and ran across a recurring problem ---- Postage cost increases. I guess the USPS raised prices for the holiday season and never bothered to mention it. Now the packages that I shipped today where I charged the cust...

Re: Romulan Vengeance from NorthTrek Creations

It's done, and it's available on the website. There's so much detail RogueWolf put into this kit, that you could easily paint it up in many different ways. I'm looking forward to seeing how other folks complete their Vengeance kits. http://www.mvmodels.biz/kits/vengeance/vengeance_parts_03.jpg http:...

RogueWolf was going for more of a darker Valdore era ship, so you're right about the timeframe, but I never thought about the similarities in shape. The Starfire will make a comeback eventually as well as many other Ravenstar kits.

Re: Starbase Nein

Shapeways. I ordered a Valiant from there and it is a great ship. Close to Defiant but different. https://www.shapeways.com/product/324YC3L67/valiant-class-scoutdestroyer?optionId=63051174&li=ostatus My Valiant which is the former Ravenstar model will be out very soon, will cost less, and will come...

That sucks. Now you have no reason to work on your repair skills. ;)

Re: Hutzel Class

I like kobayashimaru 's theory of a saucer-sep capability with a primary bridge and a battle bridge. As far as orientation, I prefer the single nacelle on the dorsal side purely for aesthetic reasons. It's how we've already seen third nacelle options, and it looks natural for the Trek universe. Alth...

Re: Romulan Vengeance from NorthTrek Creations

My thinking is that I'm done with paint. You folks might come up with something different when you build your Vengeance kits, and that's what I love about non-canon kit-building - freedom from conformity . The details I believe are sufficiently brought out here, and I always prefer to err on the sid...
