Re: Saratoga, NCC-31911 Conversion in 1/1000 Scale

At some point in the near-future, UGH! Models are going to release it in 1/2500, along with the Repulse - which I have the master parts for needing a quick one-over before sending out.

I’ll get you the stat’s on the saucer a bit later.

Yay! And thanks! I like that I can actually serve as a positive example somewhere! :)

I appreciate the work you've put into yours, as well. You're going much more detailed than I, obviously, which makes me want to start mine over again. Sorta.

Re: USS Sasser, NCC-6312 - Indomitable-class Heavy Cruiser *PIC HEAVY*

My apologies for getting sidetracked and not updating before today. For being Retired, I sure seem to stay busy lately! I've gotten some work done the last two days. As I think I mentioned before, I'm also working on several other StarFleet ships while painting Sasser. Because of that, it's slow goi...

She looks great! Very nice ship, I’d like to seei her (re-issued) in sacred scale Looking like a real ship now the paints going on :) I'm liking what I see Looking good Griffworks! I always love the part where you start the detail painting and they really start looking like a Starfleet ship should....

Re: Saratoga, NCC-31911 Conversion in 1/1000 Scale

Thank ya kindly, sir! Coming back to this one, I went ahead and popped off the antennae off of both of the sensor mounts, and went ahead and popped the sensor mount off of the starboard side. I'm going to see ifa friend of mine - Bob/Aptivaboy - would be willing to design a 3D part for printing, as ...

Re: Guenther-class Dreadnought

Wow, thanks fellas! I appreciate the kind words. I didn't think she was anything all that special, really, tho was proud of my pretty simple kitbash. I'm looking forward to finally building this in 1/1000 scale. I intend to finish this one, get some decals made for it, then give it to Todd Guenther....

I disagree because you're not seeing the full area. But have fun with it.

Here's another interesting image I found in my reference files from ST:TWoK.

Look at where the phaser beam is coming from. That's not coming from the MEGA!phaser emitter, but instead looks like it's coming from the upper outboard surface of the "pontoon".

Re: USS Bozeman - Cause and Effect

miranda1a.JPG I dunno, but it seems evident that they're not RCS thrusters, not with perfectly round circles smack in the middle of each of the yellow-orange squares with red outlines. The only place we've seen something similar is on the Refit above the shuttlebay, or on the bottom of the secondar...
