Re: 50x50=2500, 8 Light (pic heavy)

Well I cut off the top of the wall from the Main Mission to the Commander's office and glued it to the superstructure (which will eventually be glued to the light panels above the Commander's office). I also started brush painting instruction-recommended cream (which appears "pinker" in person). The...

Re: delete

I can't say I'm happy about the name calling, deceitfulness, game-playing & other immature behavior. We come here to have a good experience, which you have contributed with your numerous build posts. Please continue to be positive and this event should blow-over.

Re: Your Board, Your Wave

I agree. It would be very difficult to be 100% consistent and it would put writers in an ever-shrinking box to try to create new material. That being said, it is difficult to swallow needless flagrant inconsistencies. So, its best to be more like "u-Trek", take what you think is good and leave out t...

Re: hello

Welcome aboard! I like your positivity and fresher perspective from a younger fan. I feel television is going through a Renaissance with quality shows both in storytelling and production quality. I know TOS is a hard-sell to a modern audience, given that it was produced in the 60's with a fairly low...

Are you going to embed a Jem'Hadar fighter in the neck?

Re: 50x50=2500, 8 Light (pic heavy)

Here's a picture showing the progression of the computer wall: ComputerWall.jpg Initially the wall is equally wavy up & down. It should really be 2 panels up then a drop down. So I cut out the old panels and put in new double panels which I reinforced with sprue on the back end. Then filled the gaps...

Re: 50x50=2500, 8 Light (pic heavy)

While I don't plan to go as far as here , I will need to add some additional building area to the model for lighting - probably a couple of floors on the command tower rather than all the way to the moon's surface. I am considering cutting off the rounded parts of the Main Mission and gluing them to...

Re: Museum of Military History

Well the Orlando/Kissimmee area has plenty of things to see/do, such as Disney Parks, Universal Studios, Sea World, sports arenas, Downtown Disney (which has a Lego store my wife/son like to visit), dinner theaters, etc. It can be very tourist-y. We also went to Old Town (shops, rides, etc.) and Med...
