Re: Papertrek

interesting, thanks for sharing. so, why do some of their faces not have eyes, nose, or mouth? (is that so as you can 'super-impose' that over a clear surface for 'animation'?) Pepakura MMD paper-craft have some likenesses too, as well as "IDW's retro ads in comics" hehe. I think there are template...

Re: Your Board, Your Wave

I don't even try to get all philly shophical. It is just not that deep. Sure you can drill that deep, but for my money you have punched out the other side and left the show behind. Bill was right on SNL, it's a ghodd damn TV show. And it isn't. You can take the frame work of Trek and within find the...

Hey does anyone know where I can buy game scale starship decals or larger?
Your best bet is to make them. Decal paper and your friendly printer can make some fine decals indeed.

1x 1:1400 Enterprise D Command Decks (bridge)
That can be acquired if you have an E-D in a non destructive fashion. Making a dam mold around the bridge and casting. I did this for the E-D but in 1/2500 scale.

Re: Your Board, Your Wave

All that can really be said is that Trek gives bare lip service to the idea of consistent warp speeds. Heck one of the first thing they did was to go to the "edge" of the Galaxy, some 20,000 ly away. Re: 1/1400 AMT Enterprise-C (So it begins)

I can't call myself a novice, I scratch, do casting and such. But the arcane art of light I do not go there. I love the look. But I like to finish models in my lifetime.

Loving the build however. Keep it going.
