Re: Ideas & Projects for Federation Ships

Oceanographic starship. I planed to use a Nebula as the base ship. the part that eludes me is the sub. It has to be a sub that can break sky, half space craft half research sub, and can be huge. It replaces the pod on the Nebula. No warp drive.

Hydrodynamics is a thing here. Any ideas?

Re: STAR TREK Size Chart

It still would be better off with a single central pylon.

Re: Shifting shop

The last issue is the hobby toolbox. It has to go down the stairs and the sucker weighs. Once the tools are down I'll move the stuff in the office. I need a light fixture and want a good power strip.

My wife got the weight machine moved with nothing but a wonderbar. Archimedes indeed.

Re: Improving the look of AST

Why is that? It has been shown that the competition for followers and ":likes" has psychologically damaged people. Not everyone mind you, but damage has been done. Every place you get such a system you get people that feel they MUST game it, even if "winning" means absolutely nothing. Better I thin...

Re: Gorn BH2 1/3900

I prefer the SFB design for Gorns myself. The bricks of FASA don't do anything for me.

Those are some awfully deep trenches on the hull.

Shifting shop

My wife and I have make effort to get my modeling back into the basement. I'm not against this as I will have room to use the tools I have. The two remaining major issues are my tool box (Heavy) that needs to be moved downstairs, and the dead elephant in the room, the weight machine (heavier) that m...
