Re: Another Ambassador.

I thought that was a studio model at first. Well done!

Re: 1/350th Refit Cutaway

Interesting find, When engineering was designed for TMP it was designed like this. The second level that Kirk walks on and looks down from, before he takes the lift, doesn't fit anymore because in Trek II that are was turned into the long Torpedo bay.engineering. That is interesting. Say, I notice ...

you're returning to this awesome project.
Depening on what I'm feeling up to it could be the first thing on the agenda. Thanks for the suggestions for how-tos, but I am not a wiring kind of guy. I'm electrically derelict, to quote Richard from Keeping Up Appearances.

Re: 1/350th Refit Cutaway

All kinds of awesome. I love the torpedo bay. Seeing the Refit in cutaway form really drives home how cramped... err, cosy the thing is. The chief engineers who surely cut their teeth on Connies before progressing to the first Ambassadors must have had a word or two say about "wasted space" on the n...

Re: WIP: Saladin class Successor

Thanks! ‘Ello? I really should finish it, shouldn't I? Nice work so far. Cool to see a ship design from this era. Love how the shuttlebay is going. Definitely need to light it. I have the idea I can cannibalise a prewired LED and battery box from a toy or novelty item. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki...

Re: Refitting a Potemkin Refit

Updates? Hope she’s back together and patrolling! No, poor old Potemkin is still in pieces at drydock I'm afraid. I have been rather distracted the last... hell, I don't know how many months. My internal clock still says November 2017! I have the incredibly useless ability to almost totally focus o...

Re: Doesn't Jean-Luc Picard French origin bugs you?

But that's the issue raised by NCC1966. Picard has a French name , but he comes across as a British person . The tea, the Shakespeare... you could brush it off as Picard's personal tastes if only Patrick Stewart had effected a general French accent. Using the same kind of logic here I could adopt my...

Re: USS Von Braun, NCC-1978 - Oberth-class

This is NOT the same kit as the DQ kit. It's an entirely new kit, drawn and 3D printed by us at UGH! Models. I should know, I cast both the DQ kit and this one. Erin UGH! Models My apologies. I had assumed it was, as others had bought DQ masters... and I know there is a thread about it, but I haven...
