I do have spares as I have the TOS version from the Enterprise 3 ships set. TOS, A and B. There is basically the same in both kits and I will be doing the A and B next.
I am going to try the Microset to soften then watered down PVA right now. If that doesn't work then I will remove them and try with the other set of decals.
There is no dark side of the moon really, matter of fact its all dark.

Do you have any Solvaset? That might do the trick.

I found that white glue mixed with warm water does wonders for stubborn decals. Use a small soft brush to apply the glue mix just uner the edge of the decal. Continue gently pressing down on the edge until the glue sets, a microbrush works well for this, then wipe away any excess with the microbrush or a cotton swab. Give it a day to dry then seal with a gloss lacquer or acrylic based clearcoat but don't lay it on thick, use quick passes and let it dry 5 minutes between coats.

Lost patience with them in the end and took the offending ones off. I am going to give the whole ship a coat of Finish later on and may have time to get some decals on tonight.
I have the set from the three Enterprise set and will cut the TOS from the others and use Decal film on the ones I will use tonight.

No, I don't have any Solvaset. I will look at purchasing some if I can get it in the UK.

I do have a few TOS E's at work in the TOS, A and D sets (I was going to use them for kitbashing) and have a couple of sets of aftermarket decals for them. I also lost one TOS version because of trying the joins with Tamiya White so that is why I have one set of decals spare.

Work will halt after tonight as daughter is 10 tomorrow and we have big plans for the week. Late evenings and early mornings will shutdown Mo's shipyard.

Decals are on. Managed to get the replacement ones to sit flat by first coating the whole ship with 2 coats of Finish. I then cut the ones I needed off the sheet and gave them a nice coating of decal film. Scribed them to size and applied as normal. Only the two main secondary hull window needed extra trimming to go round the pylons and then I had to use Microset to help them conform and a bit of damp kitchen towel to press them on for a short time.

I left off the saucer edge windows as the original ones I didn't trim right and the windows were either at the very top or bottom of the saucer. I removed them as I thought they were wrong at the time. They had a blue backing sheet which I could see them. The three Enterprise set is on a white sheet so I cannot see where the actual windows are on the decal. I can see the square transfer part though so may put them on and trim the extra of the top/bottom of the saucer as needed
