Last piece on the Burd. It was Epoxy for everything by the shuttle bays as the Zap-a-Gap failed me at a time I could not get more.
Bow side view: mounted on the stand post. I need to make more large stands. Dorsal bow quartering view: Who's the pretty burd? Dorsal stern quartering view. It really looks bird like from this angle.

It looks like it is 'mantling'. When a bird of prey covers it new kill to keep it out of sight.
Looks most impressive.

Well I am hung up on being in Michigan and needing to spray paint. Sue, my lovely wife has agreed that this weekend's task is getting the spray booth hooked up and operational. Yes, I will take pictures.

Hollywood FL is temperate, but spraying in that is unpossible.

Unless you really want to risk a primered face.Jason Abbadon wrote:Yeah, I hear ya- I was going to primer something today but (suprise!) we had 15-20 mph winds! Hollywood FL is temperate, but spraying in that is unpossible.
I have had this thing for years, but I have not been able install it. Last year we got the basement windows replaced with glass block, and one block is a dryer vent, but not for the dryer.
Tomorrow I hope I finally get to use it.

Re: Sulfer Crested Romulan
Work on the Burd has been temporarily halted while the spray booth gets hooked up. I've had this thing for a while, but no place in the basement to put it to use. That changed with the instillation of the block windows. The vent itself is just out of frame in the window seen.
As with most such projects once the booth was unburied and examined it was found a trip to the hardware store was required. A cord to plug it in, some self tapping sheet metal screws, and so forth. The flexible vent seen I do not recommend for a dryer. The corrugations catch lint and cause a fire hazard. I have a cousin whose house burned down for exactly that reason. But, here we have no heat and no lint.
Here is the beast in the raw with the vent materials in sight.

Looks like it's got real potential- but wear a decent fun mask anyway. Some of the stuff in the tools we use are extremely hazardous.
