Well, as I stated a page or so ago, I have no idea. It's a layering of colors until they look right. But here's the colors I used, and maybe you can replicate it somewhat. I'll also list these colors in the Painting Suggestions section of the instruction sheet.

Tamiya XF-26 Deep Green
Tamiya X-3 Royal Blue
Tamiya X-25 Clear Green

Those are the colors, and the last two were thinned way down so that I could control the depth of color easier. Other color combinations would work well too, but after trial and error came up with those.

You're welcome. This was a lucky color combo. I accidentally found these colors because the Deep Green didn't look right by itself - it was too green. I then used the Royal Blue to tone it down a bit, but I wasn't subtle enough and it was a bit too blue. So, I then hit upon the idea to use a little Clear Green, and that helped a lot. I'm no model building expert, I'm still just an intermediate level builder who gets lucky sometimes. ;)

Experimentation is all part of becoming an “expert” modeler, IMNSHO. You’re well on the way.

My thinking is that I'm done with paint. You folks might come up with something different when you build your Vengeance kits, and that's what I love about non-canon kit-building - freedom from conformity. The details I believe are sufficiently brought out here, and I always prefer to err on the side of moderation rather than put on too much paint.

I'm very much looking forward to adding the decals, but I still have some windows that I need to draw and have RogueWolf approve. About 95% of the decals are finished though, so I'm fairly certain this build will be completed this weekend. Window decals are black, but they do include the smaller 1/2500 scale windows, as well as a set of larger windows to be used if you want to add the ship to your 1/1400 or 1/1000 scale fleet.

Turned out really nice- though I really think some bright green pastel could be blended in to give it a perfect TNG look.

Maybe use the opaque white decals from the styrene Warbird here- they're just round portholes so they work at this scale.
