I thought I had done my SciFi Miniatures as the NX version, leaving the slightly larger R2 as the NCC. I was wrong, the SciFiMini has NCC decals. I have to fix that, somehow....

Of course there's the NX Defiant and the NCC Defiant and the Valiant, a name I used to name a Defiant concept model. That still leaves me with a lot of ships with too few names

3. Mach 5
Here's a picture of a Polar Lights Mach 5 from the old cartoon "Speed Racer": While not a spaceship, this was another project I wanted to do for my bro. In case you didn't know, the Mach 5 was this ultra-cool (from a kid's perspective) race car from a Japanese cartoon from the early 70's. There were some buttons on the steering wheel which enabled special abilities (bird-like flying drone, saw blades to clear a path in the front, jacks which could be used for jumping, submarine mode, etc.). There was also the mysterious Racer X (his older brother in a secret disguise) who would often come to Speed's rescue.

As a matter of fact, I did a lot of crazy things driving (Drag racing etc...) when I got abit older, because of Speed's the influence. LOL

Re: 50x50=2500, 2 (pic heavy)
Another hiatus (shorter, though), another restart - kicking off with something easy/little over-thinking. I got these off ebay years ago -- not sure yet whether I will use them as bases, badges or artwork.
Since I already have 3 plaques for the TOS, Refit & D, I may need to rework the text for other ships (E, NX, ??).I'm a modeler, not a doctor...

Wow, would love to get a copy of about six of those to use to make bases out of....look really nice! I got some off of ebay last year to make bases out of but haven't figured out how to deepen them enough to hold anything. They are about 1/8 inch thick.

Add styrene at the bottom, cut as necessary, or glue them to a board perhaps?

For those bases, get Museum Wax!
Seriously, it's amazing, non-toxic and doesn't hurt anything.
It's sticky putty- I use it for 3.75" Marvel Universe figures so they stay standing up when my cat's go crashing into everything (including my display cases!)
It was originally used in museums to keep sculpture and such from toppling in minor earthquakes.
Stick some under a base and it'll hold just fine.
