While the Phase II isn't my favorite design, I find myself strangely pulled to it and have decided that I will be ordering one. Thankfully I am a modern man and we modern men can use logic and reasoning to justify anything.
My logic states thusly: A collection of Enterprise models, depicting the entire timeline of changes to the ship as well as other ships bearing the name, without the Phase II has all the appeal of a smile with a missing front tooth.

Therefore, logic dictates that I MUST purchase this ship.. a masterful marketing plan indeed, UGH Models!
Well played!

MUUHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! And another of our devious plans comes together!

I'm not into 1/2500 myself, but this is a cool little kit. I figured you guys would like to have one, too, so we scaled it down for ya!

Mine came in last night too. It is all sorts of resin-y goodness!

Everything is cleanly cast. There's very little cleanup that has to get done. Overall you're reading the post of a happy customer

Ok, dangit! Tuesday is my birfday. I'll be a 49 year old child. My wife actually bought me the new (Aurora repop) Atlantis Dc-9 model, but I think I've worked up enough courage to order the Phase II Enterprise tomorrow. She's just gonna have to deal with a 1/72 scale airliner AND all of my tiny starships!
Sshhhhh! Here she comes!

PS- an added bonus of my justification skills when it comes to model building...
"But Honey Bunny! You know my models keep me from giving in to all those floozies that love my muscular legs!"
i don't know. I'm making it up as I go.
