Romulan Vengeance Class WarBird

Postby RogueWolf » Sat Jul 12, 2014 4:19 pm

Well, a while back a bunch of you guys bugged me to kit this sucker. She was never intended to be a kit as I had her built and ready for detailing/painting.

But you wanted her so I tore her apart and began re-working her as a kit;

I got a bit of work done on her last night, mainly filling in the gaps on the main hull/wings where I cut them off. I'll make a standard slot/tab connection for the wings to attach to the main hull. I don't have any pics of her but I was looking at the wings with about a 30 degree down slant, It really made her look more menacing - like the Klingon BoP attack position, if you know what I mean. So I might make an optional 'wedge' piece that the modeller (you) can put in to have the wings slanted down for an attack position. No promises yet, I'll have to see how it goes first.

Some old pics, The Vengeance and Praetor's Sword together;

And The big 'V' facing down some puny Federation ships;

Why are you doing this to me? We're trying to buy a house here....

El Gato, this is easily 8 to 10 months out from production, if not more depending on Del's backlog - he has alot of kits on his bench, mostly his but a few of mine too.

Correct. I'm really looking forward to getting a couple of the NorthTrek Creations Federation kits done first. They should be a lot of fun, and look great too. However, I will be excited about the Vengeance once it's ready too.

Hold on to your hats cause I got two more nice Romulan designs in the planning stages as well! Maybe even a third.
