Lighting Kits.

Postby Moongrim » Tue Mar 19, 2013 8:21 pm

Just one little tip from an Electronics Technician.

IF you are putting together a lighting kit for say....a 1/350 Enterprise Refit, and the aftermarket lighting kit you're putting together says to not put any resistors in series with any of the LED's...

Ignore that advice, and ALWAYS put a resistor in series with a LED!

Since having to stop working on the kit to purchase a few extra resistors from Radio Schlok, is preferable to having to tear apart a partially assembled kit to remount a burned out LED.

Just thought you'd like to know.

There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.
