Shuttles

Postby paulpratt » Wed Nov 02, 2016 3:09 pm

Does anyone have a lead on or knowledge of any place to find various shuttlecraft in 1:1000?
I'm looking for:

Runabout
Delta Flyer
Peregrine Fighter
Argo

Not sure about others off the top of my head, but if they are out there, I'll probably take them. :D
Best,
-Paul

Try either Federation Models or Shapeways. I don't have the links with me here at work but I'll look for you later tonight.

Federation Models-Products-Federation Models:
1:1000 TOS Shuttlecraft(2)- RMC-63 ($6.00)
1:1000 TMP Shuttlecraft (3)-RMC-64 ($8.00)

They do have
1:1400 Delta Flyer- RMC-10 ($5.00)
1:1400 Speedboat shuttle RMC-12 ($3.00)
1:1400 Galaxy Class Shuttle Bay- (includes 20 shuttlecraft and 2 speedboats) RMC-25 ($24.00)
1:1400 Runabout RMC-28 ($8.00)
1:1400 Peregrine Fighters (3) RMC-38 ($8.00)

Federation Models-Model Kits- Federation Models:
1:1000 Tholian crusier (3)- FM-G12 ($15.00)

Shapeways:
1/1000 Atlantic Class Runabout:
http://www.shapeways.com/product/M9W9F2 ... d=55522087

And that, is about all I could find- on shapeways narrowing it down to a fraction of the available costs- I still come up with a search result for 1:1000 shuttle craft that includes over a thousand pages.

Thanks all for the responses everyone. I'm relatively new to all of this. I'm using 1:2500 to make star trek attack wing in scale and 1:1000 for my own projects.
Still learning where to dig up some of these more esoteric models. Wish there was more official support for some of this stuff. i guess everyone does... :)

i know there is some debate about the peregrine fighter size, but the star trek attack wing ones seem to be decent representations in 1:1000, maybe a slight bit big.
Best,
-Paul

Here's another shuttle you can consider adding.

https://www.shapeways.com/product/5UK6W ... d=62300817

I requested it based upon the smaller Manasu-class shuttles seen in ST:TMP.

From left to right: Surak-class long-range shuttle, shuttle w/o the Warp sled, the Manasu-class (standard StarFleet shuttle with docking port), from Federation Models the ST:V shuttle, and the TOS shuttle (also from FedMods).

Manasu and ST:V shuttles in the landing deck.

And of course, plenty more where those come from!

As an addendum to this thread, UGH! Models intends to expand their shuttle pack line from 1/350 to 1/1000 scale. Not sure when that will happen, tho you’ll be able to get their 1/350 Enterprise/TOS Era Shuttle Pack, as well as Movie Set, which I imagine will be just like the 1/350 Movie Era Auxiliary Craft set , as seen here, or something close to it.

Plus, there’s likely to be more stuff added to Shapeways.

Yes, we're doing a 1/1000 shuttle pack. Still printing them. So far it will include all the shuttles from the two 1/350 scale packs we do as well as the ones from our Lynch kit, plus a JJverse shuttle, a Runabout, Delta Flyer, and if they cast ok, a NASA Space Shuttle. Might be a couple more in it, but not sure on those yet so I won't mention what they are yet. No idea on price or availability yet, as I said we're still printing. One thing is for sure, some of these are tiny! The inspection pods are smaller than a pencil eraser, and all the detail on the 1/350 is on them.
