There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.

First photo- Gluing the Bussard domes onto the engines, and patiently waiting for them to dry.
Process complete- Gloss coat applied, decals applied, 2nd gloss coat, and Flat finish. Now mounted- here is a rear view.
Front view with the ventral spine detailed. And guess what, I just now noticed the window problems on the saucer. Best time to discover such eh?
I chose- Karf. Because as near as I can tell- Derf is Fred, backwards. Karf is - Frak backwards, keeping with the four letter ident, along with a homage to an expletive from another sci-fi series.
Part of my research I chose to look for any other kitted versions of the Derf.
I couldn't find any. Oh yes, plenty of drawings and 3d designs, but no actual kitted ones.
I guess I'm the first.
So- one conversion kit from Starship modelers: Larson class, modified.
A JT Graphics A,B,C deck conversion part.
Two warp engines from a Polar Lights kit.
Decals from: Starship modeler kit, several from the Polar lights. a few from PNT models, and a couple or three from JT graphics again.

That was Batman's nickname for Robin before they settled on "Boy Wonder".Moongrim wrote: Buoy Tender.

Also, this is among the coolest TOS style ships I've seen. Nice.

Very nice, Moon! You added some really nice touches on the paint job. Props to you on the name
