Slapping on some Starfleet markings. I went with USS Anger basically because it was easy. I just had to chop up "USS CHALLENGER".

As for the registry number, I don't think there's any canon info about registry numbers of captured ships, so I made something up. It's a regular number, but with an X appended. *shrug*

Next steps: finish decaling and seal it with Future/Pledge. Then weathering.

More Starfleet livery for the D7.

Beautiful execution of a retro concept.

The concept of one nation taking another nation's ships as prizes and re-purposing them for use in their own fleet is a proud tradition that goes back at least as far as the navies of the 18th and 19th centuries on earth.

Love this.

A valid point....brainstorming here....

It's getting VERY nice! Such ship with Federation marks is definitively an insult to the Klingon Empire!

:)

In the latest few days I have thought on make a Federation Klingon vessel for me too. However probably it will be a bird of prey because there is something in the D7 that really bugs me: every time I look the ship from the front I see a redneck head with a straw hat.

Thanks,

Yan.

That's funny. I have referred to that "straw hat" as a "sombrero" myself.

LOL, I thought that I was the only one to see such weird thing at that ship! I am relief!

Thanks,
