I kinda like it, but honestly think NASA would be sleeker. Less clunky looking.
I'm not trying to dump on your design, just giving a half assed opinion.
I'm glad to see something here though. Seems kinda dry in this forum sometimes.

This idea's being thrown around, but I didn't think it was NASA's so much as the product of someone's imagination:

I don't want to hijack the thread. Maybe I'll start a new one on NASA/ NASA related concept ships. I've seen a few on their site that is pretty neat. Including a matter/antimatter drive Mars transport. Very sleek looking.
