Lamenting Over Old Stuff

Post by patrickivan »

I really need to get this going again. My ship I designed years ago, then started in Google Sketchup, but never finished. Posted to my wordpress in 2012!!! Gah...

I need to get on this again. My SU (or whatever they call it now) are far better than when I started this.

And this... I really want to build a model of this somehow.

In 1:350, I reckoned it to be about 19.5cm long... Not a HUGE model, but to print? That would be expensive I'm guessing.

I don't know... Was just looking at old stuff and feeling like wanting to make or finish it all.

Oh- and apparently I had an idea for Star Trek Into Darkness in mind in 2011 LOL.

Congrats on being able to make those curves on SketchUp

Thanks man... It actually looks better than that image. I have some others but was pressed for time yesterday.

There are some changes I'd make though. I'm not entirely happy with how the nacelles blended into the hull, but know how I'd fix it if I started it up again.
