Old Drawing

Postby patrickivan » Mon Jul 11, 2016 2:40 pm

Hey- going through some old stuff from- arg- a long time ago and came across a little drawing I did when Voyager was on.

Thought I'd just share it with the only people who may find it interesting

Very cool. It begs for a backstory tough.

Intriguing. A Klingon Space Port?

Undoubtedly the green area to the right and upper, is the buffet lounge.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was that building inspired by the game Star Trek New Worlds? I didn't love the game, but I remember the building architecture to be top notch.

Thanks.

I wish I could say I had one... At least the I remembered. All I remember is: see below.

If I recall, it was just an idea I had of an Intrepid Class ship visiting a Klingon Outpost on a densely forested world (or at least this part of it).

The large structure was the hanger facility. To the right was a forested area that led to a traffic control tower. You can see the covered alcove leading to it.

With the Klingons and Federation working together, it seems like a fun idea of having a ship stop for supplies and rest on a friendly world. Or even repair after a battle perhaps?

I am not familiar with New Worlds in any fashion. And back when I drew this, I had next to no internet access, for what it was worth back then anyway.

Very cool, I like old school style drawing. Nothing of computers and technology, just the good old paper and some colored pencils!

:)
Thanks,

Yan.
