Progress! got the secondary hull together. Sanded. Filled some holes with super glue. One more light sand on the saucer and ready to wash and prime. More pics after prime.

Prime time. also sanded. Looking to re-prime tomorrow becuase I will not be home before dark tonight.
Also it will probably not be the Yorktown becuase I was tardy in ordering decals. Pic:

Base coat is done.
1 new layer of Tamiya fine white primer. 2 coats of Tamiya Insignia white. This is color is a bit yellow compared to the primer color. In hindsight I should have used grey primer to add some depth of color. Oh well, events seem to stack up against me in getting this done. I went too many weeks with no progress at all. I think I may not finish on time. Still have to mask and do detail paint. then aztek then normal decals. Well we'll see how far I get. Progress pics: a bit of a color shift from my camera phone.

More base coat. The tamiya pant goes on so well it's really hard to screw it up.

Looking really nice and clean. Think you're gonna make the deadline? I'm starting to feel the pressure myself.

I'm not sure. It depends on the decals. It's my first Aztek. If it goes well I have a chance. My Yorktown Decals came in so that's good.

Good Luck. "I'm a rooting for ya".
There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.
