Progress! got the secondary hull together. Sanded. Filled some holes with super glue. One more light sand on the saucer and ready to wash and prime. More pics after prime.

Base coat is done.

1 new layer of Tamiya fine white primer. 2 coats of Tamiya Insignia white. This is color is a bit yellow compared to the primer color. In hindsight I should have used grey primer to add some depth of color. Oh well, events seem to stack up against me in getting this done. I went too many weeks with no progress at all. I think I may not finish on time. Still have to mask and do detail paint. then aztek then normal decals. Well we'll see how far I get. Progress pics:

More base coat. The tamiya pant goes on so well it's really hard to screw it up.

Looking really nice and clean. Think you're gonna make the deadline? I'm starting to feel the pressure myself.

I'm not sure. It depends on the decals. It's my first Aztek. If it goes well I have a chance. My Yorktown Decals came in so that's good.

Detail painting done (OK a couple of touch-ups).

Now to try Aztek.

Good Luck. "I'm a rooting for ya".
