After a lot of research I tracked down what is the pledge version of future so I can clear coat my saucer section. I laid down the first coat and can tell it's gonna take a couple to accomplish what I want. First coat gave a satin finish.

That looks like it's the stuff. The label on mine says Pledge "with Future", so it's probably the same stuff.

You may have better results if you cut it with 1/3 water. Otherwise it's too glossy and thick; prone to drips.

Thanks for the advice. I've noticed that with the base coat being my primer it actually soaks it up.
