Re: Miranda Class
Applied the dark gray and Duck Egg Blue on Wednesday and removed the mask last night and did some minor touch ups. Still have some more to do in regards to the bleed under on the nacelles and the pulled paint on the bottom. All in all it came out better then I was expecting.

Re: Miranda Class
I like what your doing here. And I see what your saying about the duck egg blue looking a little green but it could be a trick of the light too.

Re: Miranda Class
It looked greener when it was on the dark gray primer. On the white, it looks a tad more blue, but still green. Sort of like the old die-cast Enterprise D toy from back in the day. This was the Model master Acryl version of it, so it could just be that.

Re: Miranda Class
That duck egg blue looks suspiciously like RAF sky type.

Re: Miranda Class
Painting almost done, just need to some minor touch ups. Not too concerned in regards to the grills on the nacelles. The decals I have should cover it with no problem. Then it is off to the decaling. That should take a month to complete!

Re: Miranda Class
That's shaping up nicely. And I think you're right about the decals!

Re: Miranda Class
One small step...
This is going to take some time. Looking over the decal sheet, I am seeing that a part of the nacelle isn't covered on the sheet. Luckily, spare Aztecs are provided plus I still have some of the stripes from my Refit build that I can use to make something unique.

I like the decals and I think your color choices for the accent colors are great choices.

Re: Miranda Class
Had the chance to complete the decaling the nacelles and the rollbar. Slow going, but getting there.
I am using the Aztec decals from here: https://www.starshipmodeler.com/tech/cz_mask.htm
Cool decals, but I am running into an issue with the decals for the saucer section. For anyone who has used these decals before, was it necessary to cut out each individual panel section (per triangle) or can it be applied as the whole triangle section.
