The Orville

Postby el gato » Sun Sep 17, 2017 2:06 am

Finally had a chance to catch it.* Not bad, Mrs. Gato and I liked it. It had a TNG vibe to it.

* I could've seen it earlier, but I was waiting for Mrs. Gato. She is going back to school and tonight was the only time she could watch it in between assignments.

I finally got to watch it as well and I did enjoy it. It still needs a bit of work but certainly worth watching. It does have a TNG feel to it, that's for sure and not unexpected.

Definitely. It needs to get its sea legs, but it had a stronger start than TNG, ENT and VOY

Really liking this so far! Both aired episodes have our - Wife and I - attention, and the second ep was better than the Pilot.

Yes, I enjoyed the second episode as well. I felt that the humor wasn't even necessary for the episode to work.

this is better trek than
the jj-orci--nuwarstrek verse,
st-disc
st-ent all put together!

Its a little Galaxy Quest meets Red Dwarf and traumschiff surprise.
its not quite futurama-level fun, though its close hehe.
Here's hoping this goes well!
