What exactly is the;

Round 2 1/1000 Reliant Test Shot (with COA and test shot marking)

I might be a bit stupid here but can you clarify what it is? COA and Test Shot confuse me :?:

I believe COA is Certificate of Authenticity. Test shot essentially means this is an advance copy, used to make a final assurance that the kit is coming together properly.

Thanks, that sounds good. Finally a 1/1000 prize, but one that is probably worth more by leaving it in the box :(

I have a design that I made in SU a while ago- I've wanted to make a model of it since. Is that allowed? The model would be new, but the virtual model is not.

Thanks

As long as the physical build is new (with WIP updates) that's fine. :)

After your build is complete, are we allowed to change the name on our thread? Like instead of calling it a Round 2 something, can we name our ship and dedicate it to a famous Star Trek person? Or do we have to leave the name the same?

The title must remain the same. However, after the contest has ended (votes counted and winners announced) you may request that the thread be copied to the relevant section and rename it to whatever you wish.

Question... how much can change after we locked in?

Reason for asking... my parts supplier for the add on's I was going to change got back to me (finally!) yesterday and told me he could not accommodate my request for clear resin parts beyond what he had in stock. That means that several parts I had intended to replace for lighting are now not avaliable. On top of that, I am very unhappy with the way the drilling looks on my saucer, and am seriously entertaining filling it all in. If I were to light anything at this point, it would wind up being the bridge/sensor dome, and probably nothing else. I can't see spending a ton of money on lighting when the number of lit areas doesn't seem worth the financial outlay.

Alternatively, I could get a new saucer and start again... if I can source one. But I am not sure that's permitted.
