Seriously... Duck egg blue?

Postby ulvdemon » Sat Aug 09, 2014 11:44 pm

I am working on my Miranda class build (for the contest on here) and I am running into the problem with the sections calling tor Duck Egg Blue. The pictures I've seen and printed look more blue. The version I have from Model Master is coming off as a beth light green. Has anyone else run into this?

The acrylic or the enamel? I've got the acrylic duck egg blue, and it looks pale blue, to me.

The acrylic.... :?
Maybe when applied over the dark gray primer it will look closer to blue.

Lighting. That is one color that change drastically between different light sources.

My batch still looks a light pale green. Like how the old die-cast Enterprise D from the late 80's looked like. Waiting to see what happens when I add the blue sections, might contrast it somewhat and make it look like what I am going for. If not, add some blue and respray! :)
