Which one do I use, though? I have tried googling this stuff, but everyone everywhere assumes you know exactly which Simple Green product they mean.

That concentrated stuff I saw in the link you gave is what I THINK is what I use. The bottle is different from mine though, but I assume it's because it's australian packaging.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe the different products are mostly different concentrations of the cleaner possibly mixed with other cleaners? It shouldn't be anything fancy and should just be called simple green with a possible "all perpose cleaner" tag. I'm not gonna be home for about over an hour. I'll snap a shot of my bottle when/if I remember.

Damn. That's what I'm worried about. The twenty-litres of concentrate is beyond what I'm prepared to spend right now. If you can snap a photo of your bottle for me, that would be great. Thanks, again. And thanks, Trekriffic for your suggestion.

Ah-ha! I don't know how I didn't notice, but Bunnings (the store I linked) sells two litre bottles of an orange all purpose cleaner concentrate. Same basic thing, just with a different smell and/or flavour. That's a load off my mind; because apart from not wanting to spend A$200 on the green stuff, I wasn't sure what I would do with what amounts to two hundred litres of household disinfectant in undiluted form.

I will google Simple Green again and see if the concentrate is the right stuff.

Yep. All purpose concentrate is the one I need.

Okay, so one last question. What do I soak the model in; an open container or a sealed one?

Probably best to have a closed container. It may be non-toxic, but it's certainly got a good strong odor that will fill more than one room.

I use these long tupperware containers for bigger stuff that is in pieces, but if you're putting the whole thing in, you will definitely need something bigger.

Here's the pics I promised. Never mind the Rent poster; it's the Girlfriend's. I included the label on the back in case the formula is different. I have a feeling they aren't, but you never know. The last thing I want is for my suggestion to screw up your model because our countries can't agree on a strict consistent formula.

Cool, thanks! And don't worry; if I screw up, it will be my fault. I have some scrap model parts I can test this out on first.
