Servus from Munich

Post by MadManMUC »

Hey all!

Finally getting back into the hobby after about 25 years (last kit I built, I was a teenager), and I'm really looking forward to it.

Picked up the Revell Germany USS Voyager, as well as an AMT/R2 1/537 USS Reliant (which, stupidly, I paid way too much for on Amazon Germany; a week after I bought it for something like €120 (and opened the box), Round2 announced they were re-releasing it. :x )

Anyway, I'll be plugging away slowly at both ... I'll probably start a new Reliant this weekend, as I've got big plans for it!

Welcome to AST and welcome back to modeling. The hobby guaranteed to never bring you high political office. Fun though.

Welcome aboard. I too should get back to my Voyager, I got a half built shuttlebay done up for her, bug enough for the Delta Flyer. Of course this meant I needed a slightly larger shuttlebay door for her as well.

Nice! Where in NRW? I lived in D'dorf for a couple of years before coming back to Munich last year.

If you're in MUC today, there's a pretty decent hobby shop near Pasing Bahnhof, as well as downstairs at Obletter at Stachus, and the Conrad in Tal. So you're pretty well-served, here.

Oops. Double post.
