A little intro 1/2500

Postby Keithstjohnmosse » Thu Feb 02, 2017 7:49 pm

Hello,

My name is Keith and I have just joined the forum... I have been a keen modeller since I was a young lad in the southern half of the UK. I am currently a house husband which is allowing me some time to relive my long lost youth. I have a specific interest in 1/2500 scale models, I have just finished the TOS Enterprise and the A from the cadet series of models... I will post some pictures in due course. I am currently building an Oberth and have the Excelsior, a Shelby and an Abbe all sat on the side waiting for a day or two of dedication... well that's me to get started... hello to all, it's very nice to be apart of a group of like minded individuals!

Welcome Aboard Keithjohnmosse! We all look forward to seeing what you've produced!

We're all about pictures -- and not of you! Pictures of your models! (Although you can sprinkle in a few of you or your cats).

Thank you chaps for your warm welcome! I'm afraid @slawton that is don't have cats to post I do have a Corgi who from time to time may make an appearance ... he has threatened...
In any case, I have attached some photos of my first attempts in about 20 years, so please be a little forgiving at my first go in a while. Also, they don't have stands yet...so apologies for my ingenuity at making these little wonders fly!
Also, I know not 1/2500 scale, but I got started last year on some star fleet commander models too, which I have attached for your viewing pleasure... feel free to leave feedback, advice or suggestions for improvements.

Hi Keith and welcome to AST.
Have you tried using fishing line for suspension as you can get some really thin line nowadays. Just a thought
