New guy

Postby slikdisco » Mon Jan 02, 2017 5:00 am

Hello all. I stumbled on to this site recently while researching 1/2500 scale trek ships. So far I love all the work posted and will get some of my own stuff up soon. Well, I live in Palm Springs CA and love to build and customize models (something I picked up from my father and his military history). I paint, customize, scratch build (when I can), airbrush, and generally love Sci-fi models. I recently got back into building my Trek collection and decided to go with the 1/2500 scale which seems to have quite a large selection of garage kits that are manageable for a family man's wallet! I love what you guys have posted and will be taking some inspiration form posts here. Happy modeling and collecting!

Welcome aboard!

I think you will like it here -- the members are friendly and helpful. Many members have migrated from the now defunct "Mighty Ten-Twelve", named after the inside joke that maybe 10 to 12 people would model in 1/2500 (AKA "The Sacred Scale").

Welcome Aboard SlikDisco!

And we all seek to see what you've done in the Sacred Scale.
There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.
