Trekmania - It's Still Out There!

Post by Drop_Bear »

Trekmania (https://web.archive.org/web/20060202222 ... x.htm,link). Who here used to peruse The Red Admiral's website? Who has noticed that it has gone down? I have. I was disappointed to discover this sad fact some months ago, but thanks to the https://archive.org/web/,Wayback Machine it is still possible to visit Trekmania. I am really, really grateful for this strange and wonderous service, because while The Red Admiral's artwork is still floating about the internet, I wanted WIP pics that can only be found at Trekmania. WIP pics of his https://web.archive.org/web/20060213055 ... htm,Utopia class starship, to be exact. I want to build something like it.

Anyway, I thought I would share this marvellous discovery, because Trekmania has... had some interesting articles and a gallery full of retro cool lo-fi CG images. Enjoy! :D

Looks great. No website address hyperlink?
There are Times, Sir, when men of good Conscience cannot blindly follow orders. You acknowledge their sentience, but ignore their personal liberties and freedoms. Order a man to hand over his child to the state? Not while I"m captain.

Sorry. At the very start of the post; the word Trekmania is the link. I'll fix it it so others won't miss it, too.

I don't know. At least as old as Ex Astris Scientia. I don't think the mechanics of the site were ever updated - even if the content was.
