AA/DST 1:10 Scale Borg Queen scratch build

For everything Star Trek related, that isn't covered by the other forums.

AA/DST 1:10 Scale Borg Queen scratch build

Post by Atlanthia »

This will hopefully be a fully articulated action figure, including the head, in scale with all the other AA/DST range, with removable Head and shoulders with spine.

Again, my thanks to you. This figure will be just the figure as you see it in the build, with detachable head and shoulders etc. bt if someone wanted to add the 'tubes lift' it would not be difficult to do. As with all my pieces, I produce them to sell so I have to always compromise between what would be awesome and what would be great but achievable for a certain price. People generally expect to pay a little more for a premium, limited edition, hand made product but I don't like to pass any more cost on to the buyer than is absolutely necessary. Hope that answers your queries
Regards,
Darren

Absolutely awe inspiring work there! I can't wait to see the finished product. Do you have any more of your excellent work to show off to us?

What he said. I'm not a figure or set builder builder, I don't have that aptitude, so I enjoy seeing the work of those who can. Besides, as I'm sure you've seen from other threads, we have a few who also do figure sculpting and modification. Greyrider comes to mind, but there's also Nanjin, Lord Mudd and pengbuzz

And talk about what is almost becoming a lost art, too, in an era of 3-d scanning and printing. It's really nice to see someone with that kind of talent that can create a figure from scratch, that looks like the character they are portraying! :)

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the Space 1999 stuff myself.
