United Planets Blaster (got picts)

For everything Star Trek related, that isn't covered by the other forums.

United Planets Blaster (got picts)

Post by Tesral »

I've always considered Forbidden Planet to be the parent of Star Trek. Star Trek 0 if you will. The resemblance is strongly seen in "The Cage." Right down to Pike's hat.

So the United Planet's blaster pistol, the pre phaser. Bought for Museum Replicas. It is nicely made if very pricy. It does light up and like the original, no sound.

It is on the large and heavy side.

Forbidden Planet's invisible alien monster scarred me when my father showed me the movie long ago. I still think it's one of the scariest monsters in cinema.

I agree with Defiant Client- the invisible monster you couldn't see unless you were shooting at it, and only then when it was walking into a force screen. :?

Put my son on the floor. A child of the eightys. The cast list was too much. As the Romantic lead -- Leslie Nielsen.

The movie had a lot of firsts. First (and last) all Theremin soundtrack. First flying saucer good guys.

Here BTW is Captain Pike's hat. First and last time we see a cover in Starfleet.
