What is new about my size charts?
There are so many Star Trek sites with different lengths for one and the same spaceship, so I did something simple: I have estimated the lengths of the ships but not based on screenshots. I have calculated it.
That's the premise: a deck is 2.5 m + 0.5 m for EPS cables, power cables, ... = 3m height for a deck.
Warning: a Starfleet ship deck is usually 4m high because the Jeffreys tubes still happen. But other breeds have this Jeffreys technology course not.
Most ships have windows, so you can calculate the height of a deck. If the amount so specifies with 3m -> gives the length in meters. For all the views I have 300 Pixels/cm used because the 100% corresponds to the length (1 pixel = 1 m).
Sizes that have already been published by John Eaves I have not changed. For example: the So'na warship is 2320 feet long = 707m.

Re: STAR TREK Size Chart
These are very nice, and your reasoning for determining size makes perfect sense. It goes a long ways towards resolving things in Star Trek that had "magical resizing syndrome" like the Defiant, DS9 and the Ferengi D'Kora/Marauder

Re: STAR TREK Size Chart
Welcome, Fleetyard! I've been making use of your fleet charts for some time now. While I don't agree with the K't'inga size of 349m (as in the DS9 Tech Manual), I respect the thought that you've put into it. I see you''ve got the 214m size in there too. This world need more thoughtful trekkies like you.
But isn't it all Klingon opera?

Re: STAR TREK Size Chart
All I want to show with the two lengths of the K'Tinga class is that there are two variants of the calculation for the size of the space ship.Bellerophon wrote:...While I don't agree with the K't'inga size of 349m (as in the DS9 Tech Manual)...
