"Accurate Parts" tm TOS Pilot by request.

Postby andyh » Sat Jun 03, 2017 3:19 pm

Hi all. Some pics of this were requested in another thread. Many years ago, I started a garage resin add on parts biz (sold off to "Federation models & DLM" now. When mastering my parts, I realised I could put together a whole ship using the parts I'd mastered so here is the first one I built (I've also got a "Scout" version which I think is still available from Federation models).

Anyway, here is some pics and info.

The warp engines are more tapered than the AMT ones and slightly shorter.

Close up of the end caps. They fit my warp engines but if you use them on an AMT model, they are a bit small.

Here is the underneath.

The secondary hull is slightly longer than the AMT 18 inch Enterprise.

And lastly, the bridge.

Very Nice Job, Andy!

Excellent work!

Uhm, What scale is this? You keep saying "AMT" so I am inclined to think 1/650.

Nice work!

I'm pretty sure this is 1/650 scale.

Nice work Andy! She's a real beauty!

Yes, about 1/650 as the saucer diameter matches the AMT 18" kit. However I've never actually measured my complete kit so it might come in under 18". Must measure it one day :)

I have a boatload of Accurate Part pieces for my 18" E. Perhaps I should build it someday...
