Re: trek music continues

Its all good; I enjoy listening to many variants of music, so I get to meet folks who find the variants out there (that, and MCMC keyword alerts help to AGI-huntdown variants hehe :borg:) there's so much awesome Trek music, it'd take several lifetimes just to hear them all :D Indeed, Maynard F...

trek music continues

howdy, so, there's been a flurry of trek music stuff made. New Years' rehearsal for this years SciFi con was GREAT! the audio from that has also been released, and the baffle between the 'pit' and the audience was a great idea, as none of the cheering can be heard hehe. The orchestral cues to ST:D, ...

Re: Alternate Trek

Wow! the chrome variant is next-level awesome . why couldn't nu-Trek have been that with the retro-interiors? it feels like 'what if MadMen redesigned the TOS E?" and yet, it makes the TOS designs look like an improvement upon that so, there's more homage between that and TOS than ST:Ent ...

Re: DY-500

I'm in awe of your ability to break down the ship into the components like that.

Re: Federation Standard Containers

@J Abbadon
sorta like the ST:Insurrection "Holoship" (a container converted to be a flying 10 storey holodeck)
or, the modules from those Antares-Freighter from ST:TAS/ TOS-R etc?

Re: Sulfer Crested Romulan

the model itself is a treat,
seeing it go from concept, (plastruct and tape-dispenser primary)
to here being assembled frame-by-frame, that's another treat.

thanks for sharing Tesral and I look forward to seeing this one come together.

Re: Spindrift from Land of the Giants by Polar Lights

dang! a 1:72nd maquette from 'just' sprue and greenstuff, talk about traditional mixed media old-school model making! if only folks could encourage more 1:48~1:52 stuff hehe. will you be using the 'lighter/electricians blowtorch' and move method for the legs to bend them into that 'hood-ornament' po...

Re: stuck spacebar. suggestions?

indeed, you can use a 'key-re-mapping emulator" (I recommend the ones from Google Summer of Code or This Week In Tech) for the driver/keyboard of choice. 8bitguy shows some tutorials on how to use those, particularly for vintage computers and peripherals. usually, the directional keys on the nu...

Re: Social Media and AST

indeed, I've been making inroads with HLJ affiliates, and local model stores, not to mention, boardgamegeek, lead-adventure, geek-n-sundry, and other trek forums. then, there's minds, ideahub, and other locales, like ThisWeekInTech, ForeAM etc. I recommend folks also print off a decal for their LAN ...
