Re: TOS-E WIP

That is weird. Usually Microsol works for me. I have Microset, but I have yet to use it. Could it be the decal paper you're using? For those experts who print decals, what is your product of choice?

Just saw this TC. I'm assuming you mean the Transport filming miniature pictures that you posted in my other thread? Because the Wasp is just my Prime Universe interpretation of a Kelvin Timeline ship

Thanks Trek Collector! You rock! I scoured the interwebs for decent shots of the transport and didn't come up with any that were close to what you provided here

Re: What's in store for... aw, who's counting?

That's an awesome design, gato. Is it VERY light gray or is it white? It's the perfect shade for a couple of "tweeners" I'm working on (ie- tween TOS and TMP). The grid decals also look perfect. Thanks, for both compliments, on the design (it's still fanboy, but I like it) and the decals....

Re: Kratok's & El Gato's merry excursion into building military transports

Cardassian transport, with decals. I purposely did this one backwards. Typically decals are next to last, after detail painting. I didn't now what the decals would cover, so I put them on. Tomorrow I'll do some detail painting (not much) and then I'll put a wash 2017-08-19 19.47.27.jpg 2017-08-19 19...

I went for olive drab for the Klingon transport. It's a bit dark, not sure whether it'll work with the decals, but life's short, right?
