Re: The Orville

Definitely. It needs to get its sea legs, but it had a stronger start than TNG, ENT and VOY

Re: What's in store for... aw, who's counting?

They join the USS Phoenix Rene (not pictured), USS Redemption and USS Phobos in my waiting-for-new-decals yards... :S...

The Orville

Finally had a chance to catch it.* Not bad, Mrs. Gato and I liked it. It had a TNG vibe to it.

Re: Mo's Shipyard

Hadn't noticed it before, but that CE Abrams is a good looking ship.

Great job on all of these. Can't wait to see what color you use on the Tholian

Re: So maybe aliens will be humanoid after all

There are others that migrate: Cetaceans, insects (butterflies, specifically) and large mammals like elephants and bison. I don't know about insects and bison, but elephants and cetaceans have been proven to be clever animals. But you bring up a more important note of adaptability to climate. If giv...

Re: So maybe aliens will be humanoid after all

Migration os another form of adapting to the seasons. It's another example of species being clever but not intelligent. There's an advantage to staying put, but most animals simply go where the climate is comfortable and the food located. Whether that's better is more of a judgment call

Re: What to do about Photobucket

With 500+ photos on my crap-o-bucket, I think I'll just wait for the download capability. I think I have most photos saved somewhere anyway. I'm not in a hurry
