Re: Wonderfest 2018, Just around the corner

Sue is coming with me. She might duck out to visit the local horse museum. She is the horsy type. The Crown Plaza is a strange hotel. I don't know what arrangement Wonderfest has but it is not in the customer’s favor. It is the only hotel with a con association I have ever seen that wants payment up...

Crown Plaza -- Event Hotel. Arrive Friday, leave Monday. We shall have to arrange a party.

Now, I'm an old hand at cons. I'm new at this Wonderfest thing. Do people do room parties?

However I got one good hull from the process. I might try remolding that repaired and clean hull, now that I know ...

Who doesn't like Lego?

Lego X-wing. The guys at Lego continually surprise me at what they can get a simple building toy to do. Force Awakens X-wing.

Re: Shelf Cleaning (will get picture heavy)

Nice collection of props and ships, really great display, wish I can do the same someday... I got super lucky on the shelves. A store in Battle Creek was giving away commercial grade glass shelving. I tossed every blanket in the house and my wife in the car and drove from Detroit on the most bitter...

Re: Shelf Cleaning (will get picture heavy)

Yeah, Wars kind of cornered the market on big triangular shapes. Having seen the assembly pics, that's a mighty impressive bit of scratch building. Makes me want to do something with the metric ton of basswood I have leftover from architecture school. Go for it. There is no wrong direction, and bas...
