Re: 2500 Ent-D

Thanks for the pics and that came out sweet and looks perfect to me, but it's all about perspective. ;) You're looking at the side (top) that is meant to go inside the saucer so I wouldn't bother doing any work to the top. The underside is the part that is on show and matches to the battle bridge......

Re: 2500 Ent-D

Sweet, You're right, I logged out of Shapeways and ordered it as a customer and there's no PIA option, bummer. If the print gets rejected I can email you the file so you can upload it yourself and then the PIA option will appear in the Cart under the model quantity. Yes, you'll need to cut away the ...

Re: 2500 Ent-D

Sure. Fortunately I have a couple of Ent D's sat around and the width is spot on so should just slot in. I've made the depth 1.5mm so it'll be strong enough but when you order it you will need to tick the "Print It Anyway" box otherwise the print will get rejected. The bottom edge is very ...

Re: Enterprise D Saucer Deflector

It's an Aquarius-class escort ship and if USS Odyssey is 1062m then it's just shy of the Defiant size at 118.16m.,,,if you like the 120m version. Works perfectly in 2500  https://www.shapeways.com/model/3dtools/6833568/0/114?key=0bb410417f508121f303368d534960b7 Aquarius.jpg Aquarius 2.jpg

Wanna play guinea pig? It's about $15 to print in FUD.

Re: Enterprise D Saucer Deflector

Yep, It's fully recessed into the hull, the 3D Shapeways link shows it off better, along with the Aeroshuttle swap and I think it should be the Enterprise "Double D"....having 2 deflectors of course 8-) Here's the rest, or one of the 4 variants I've done anyway. https://www.shapeways.com/m...

Enterprise D Saucer Deflector

Hi Peeps, I was given a rough sketch and asked to add a saucer deflector to the Ent-D, after a lot of trial, resulting in mostly error. https://www.shapeways.com/model/3dtools/6798338/0/61?key=4d265d615dbf7cc4e40979e8ae378232 Deflector Overlay.jpg Extras 4.jpg Iteration l.jpg Whatcha think? Re: 2500 Ent-D

I've just finished off some variations of the D and these 3D views might help you. Ignore the square holes on the joined sections, they're for the recessed magnets. https://www.shapeways.com/model/3dtools/6474051/0/61?key=30b9d511d0625e420863cbc505c1e4d1 https://www.shapeways.com/model/3dtools/67983...
