From what I have observed the best way to achieve good results with brushes is to use very thinned paint in successive layers with a wide brush for base color and a combination of mask, thicker paint and a smaller brush for the details... That is what I found too Yan. I have never used an airbrush....

Well the saucer and neck are stuck fast. Maybe it is me being really fussy with this but when the saucer overhangs at the top one side and the bottom the other then I know I am going to have troubles. Had a nightmare trying to get the saucer halves together and the halves didn't meet evenly all the way round but they are finally tight and even, gaps need filling around edges yet. The lack of flashing is one thing I love about MVM's kits. That and the decals are sweet to slide on.

Well, all decals are now on. I will take it to work tomorrow to give it a coat of gloss. I will then decide if I want to paint on the shuttlebay doors or leave it as is.

Just got a 3 Enterprise set TOS, A and D for £12 and also got an MVM Sparta class and Cyclone refit for £20 with a load of what looks like BSG miniatures.
