Re: D-11 One-Wing Destroyer, IKS 'Etlh tIq

Interesting design. Makes me think that structural integrity wouldn't be great as there is no symmetry. Maybe warp capability would be less than normal. At least manoeuvrability wouldn't be an issue, well one way at least. :) UGH! I thought I recognised that base. Maybe my order can wait a little lo...

Re: Best glue?

For plastic or styrene kits you can use polystyrene cement. This actually melts the parts together.
For resin kits or printed materials you need to use either superglue, CA glue, or a two part epoxy resin.
Superglue is quite brittle so sometimes some strengthening needs to be done.

Re: TOS-E WIP

Lost patience with them in the end and took the offending ones off. I am going to give the whole ship a coat of Finish later on and may have time to get some decals on tonight. I have the set from the three Enterprise set and will cut the TOS from the others and use Decal film on the ones I will use...

Re: TOS-E WIP

I do have spares as I have the TOS version from the Enterprise 3 ships set. TOS, A and B. There is basically the same in both kits and I will be doing the A and B next. I am going to try the Microset to soften then watered down PVA right now. If that doesn't work then I will remove them and try with...

Thanks El Gato. I didn't take that into account.

Re: TOS-E WIP

This is the original decals from the TOS three ship set

EDIT
I do mean the cadet series but yes the age could be a factor as I believe it was about 6 months ago when I coated them with liquid decal. Kit was purchased in January which it was sealed then.

Re: TOS-E WIP

Having trouble gettig a couple of decals to stick down on this. Can I use Microset to soften the decal then use watered down PVA glue to hold them on? I did use microset to base the decals on to help them adhere but some of the edges are curling away especially on the nacelles and secondaey hull whi...

Re: New ships and parts at CE Ship Yards

I can't turn it on my phone. Does the primary have the neck on it?

It doesn't really matter though because that is all great.

Psst.. check your pricing on the Ascencion secondary ;)
